In addition to its vineyards, the region of Tuscany is widely known for its extra virgin olive oil. For those who feel curious about getting deeper insights into this liquid gold, we offer fantastic olive oil tours in the area. During the trip, you will be provided with an opportunity to get familiar with all the ins and outs of the production process, flavor and nutritional benefits of the liquid.
Going on a Tuscany olive oil tour means you get the chance to pay a visit to special mills which produce the product. Our experts will answer all your questions associated with grinding, crushing, and extraction. When traveling in late October or early November, you will also see mills working with your own eyes. Embark on our olive tours and travels to experience the natural flavor and compare it to the one products on the market have.
Our tours enable you to visit all places of interest located in the Chianti region. Also, you will enjoy the natural beauty, plantations, and groves which are scattered all over the area. Apart from the delightful scenery, features of the countryside include pleasantly old-fashioned settlements and villages which allow you to immerse yourself in the unusual routine of the Middle Ages. During this olive oil tour, you will also be able to enjoy delicious Tuscan food at one of the most elegant restaurants in the region.
While wine tours include exploring two wineries in some hill towns, olive oil ones open the doors to mills. Keep in mind that it usually takes an hour or an hour and a half to engage in this activity. After that, you will be offered culinary dishes prepared according to authentic Tuscan recipes. At Guido’s Tours, we want you to go on one the most memorable olive oil tours in Italy. That is why we are always ready to offer a custom itinerary and corresponding quote if you wish.
